ANN HARAKAWA
Principal and Creative Director
Ms. Harakawa has more than 20 years experience directing large-scale, complex graphic design projects for prominent organizations and municipalities. Leads Two Twelve as the design director for about half the firm's branding, print communications and environmental graphic design projects, most of which require highly specialized information design skills. Clients have included The New York Mets, Yale University, NYC2012, Alliance for Downtown New York, Central Park Zoo, Rockefeller Center, and Grand Central Terminal. Currently guiding projects for New Jersey Transit, Princeton University, and the Waikiki Business Improvement District Association. Worked with Eiko Ishioka and Takenobu Igarashi before starting her own firm, Harakawa Sisco, in NYC with Brian Sisco. Joined David Gibson at Two Twelve in 1993. Was a member of the AIGA National Board Nomination Committee in 2004 and a NYC2012 Advisory Committee member on the design of the new identity during 2003-2004.
